Greek pasta bake

This simple pasta bake is easy to make and feeds a whole crowd.

 350 g penne pasta
 2 tbsp oil
 250 g Beanit® Fava bean chunks, Garlic & herbs (1 packet = 250 g)
 1 red onion
 2 cloves of garlic
 1 bell pepper
 2 dl pitted olives
 50 g baby spinach
 2 qts tins crushed tomatoes
 3 dl water
 1 tbsp cane sugar
 1 tsp oregano
 1 tsp salt
 0.50 tsp black pepper
 200 g feta cheese
 1 bunch of fresh basil

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Boil the pasta in salted water or use leftover boiled pasta. Sauté the Beanit® chunks, sliced red onions, minced garlic, bell pepper slices, olives and spinach.


Mix in the boiled pasta and pour into a casserole dish. Mix the sauce’s ingredients and pour into the dish. Mix lightly. Crumble the feta cheese over the surface of the dish.


Cook in the oven for around 15–20 minutes. Garnish with some fresh basil.
