The Sautéed Northern Beanit® is our take on the traditional Finnish stew made of reindeer or other game. It is quick to prepare and marries perfectly with traditional sides such as mashed potatoes and lingonberries. Yum!
Sauté the Beanit® chunks, minced onion and garlic on a hot pan in butter or oil for a few minutes. Add the thyme and salt and black pepper from a grinder. Add the beer or vegetable stock to the hot pan. Bring to a boil.
Serve with mashed potatoes, lingonberries and pickled cucumber.
