We are thrilled to announce the next chapter in the growth story of our company Verso Food. On this date April 1st 2021 Raisio Plc has acquired the entire share capital of Verso Food Oy.
Raisio Plc is an international company specialised in healthy, responsibly produced food, and with outstanding expertise especially in oats and innovative ingredients. Raisio is listed on Nasdaq Helsinki Ltd, employs some 350 persons, and is headquartered in southwestern Finland. Additionally, Raisio has international operations in more than 10 countries and exports to some 40 markets. In Raisio’s products, the focus is on well-being, health, good taste and sustainable development.
Together with Raisio we can serve our customers and partners in an even more robust way. In our home market Finland our position as market leader is further strengthened together with Raisio’s product portfolio. Internationally, both companies focus on strong growth. By combining our cutting-edge expertise on fava bean with Raisio’s resources and capabilities we can leverage our position in the growing plant-based market even further.
